Help Us Restore the Tower Grove Fields
Have you played at Tower Grove Park? Have you seen someone get injured, or tweak something due to the field conditions? Do the holes and divots make you nervous? Let’s make these fields better, together.
SLUA and the Tower Grove Park Board have worked together to determine a restoration plan. Tower Grove has agreed to help eliminate the divots and holes in their fields once they are identified by SLUA. That’s where you come in. This Saturday we need volunteers to help identify areas for the park to improve. At 10am we will walk the fields we use for leagues and place flags on problem spots. We expect this to take around an hour and a half. The more people we have the faster this process will be— we need your help! Tower Grove Maintenance will use these flags as markers for repair and sodding shortly after their placement. Once we have surveyed the fields we will come back together and play some ultimate (if weather allows).
We hope to see you and your friends on Saturday!
PS. We will meet at the Turkish Pavilion to get started.
